POST20. Angel Christmas Delivery

 ðŸª½ Angel Christmas Delivery

If you remember, I mentioned in an earlier post the importance of being good to yourself on special occasions … your anniversary, your birthday, Valentine’s Day,  perhaps Christmas.

Do something special with a friend. Plan a getaway weekend. Send flowers to yourself. Buy something wonderful for  yourself, like your loved one would do for you.

Christmas was Lou’s favorite holiday, and we always celebrated til NewYear’s.

Parents and siblings were a huge part of it. We exchanged many gifts, one on Christmas Eve, and the rest on Christmas Day. And he loved to surprise me with a unique piece of jewelry.. it was wonderful!

Ironic that Lou died at Christmas 2021. It still hurts so much.

This Christmas an angel came to me at Christmas.

Becky!

Thank you for being my angel, Becky.! Lou would approve!

Followers, I think I’ve come to a fork in the road. I have only one more grief topic to write about in Post 21 next week: grieving before death.

No, I’m not giving up the blog, though I’m shifting topics away from grief. There are many more stories to tell! And I’ll be here to tell them!

I’m listening!
